Recently we stayed in and ate and drank our way through the streets of the intimate ninth, otherwise known as the 9th arrondissement and it is now by far our most loved little area in Paris (I use the word “little” as the entire arrondissement is only three blocks long).

If you only have a very small amount of time in Paris do yourself a favour and go on a journey through the streets of the ninth. Don’t forget to stop past our favourite cafes on Rue des Martyrs, Rose Bakery and Café Marlette.

Whilst writing this post I happened to stumble across a great interview in the COSSTORES AW14 magazine online with Rose Carrarini the co-owner of Rose Bakery. The chat with Rose is a great insight into the businesses she owns with her husband Jean-Charles and also their home that is The Ninth.
