Twenty Sixteen - The Year Of The Crazy Idea
I am going out on a limb and calling it - TWENTY SIXTEEN is the year of the crazy idea.
In 2015 I was blessed to have worked with many talented fashion and lifestyle designers and entrepreneurs in either a consultancy or mentoring capacity helping them to realise their business goals and bring their dreams to life. This work has enabled me to explore my own passion for sharing my knowledge and experiences from my time in the fashion industry to better the business lives of others and support and grow the industry here in Australia.
The journeys that I have been lucky to be a part of over the last twelve months have been some of the most rewarding in my entire career and reaffirmed that my heart really does lie in helping people to do amazing things in business. I love being your friend in the industry that you can confide in, share ideas, thoughts, goals and challenges that you face when starting up your fashion or lifestyle business.
So as 2016 kicks off and whilst I will still consultant on a project basis my main focus this year will be on my mentoring work and how I can make these sessions more accessible to those who are looking for their very own sounding board in business. I have been working on some new mentoring options that allow anyone on any budget working towards any time frame to get involved and I look forward to sharing them with you shortly.
Sounding out your ideas with someone - however ludicrous you may think they are, is actually the first step you need to take in order to bring your concept to life. So if you jotted down some crazy ideas in that notebook of yours throughout 2015 and feel that this is the year to make them happen then let’s get together and have a chat over coffee.
It's time to push yourself and make that crazy idea of yours a reality!

And just in case you were wondering, yes I am still very much a photographer, but more on what I am planning in this space a little later...
