Last week the fashion world went about their business, putting the finishing touches to their Autumn 2017 collections and prepping for a month long schedule of shows. While all of this was happening, one industry news source (that has become the voice of the global fashion industry), The Business Of Fashion stood up for its peers in an effort to break the silence surrounding the growing uncertainty and dangerous narrative causing division. BOF have made a positive statement of solidarity, unity and inclusiveness, coining the hashtag #tiedtogether in support of humanity during a time of turmoil and fear in many nations around the world.

Thank you Imran Amed and the team at BOF for bringing the fashion community together, acknowledging what is happening around the globe and creating a positive initiative to bring about change together!

You can find out more about the #tiedtogether movement over at Sign up to receive updates, donate to the UNHCR and ACLU and more importantly help spread the message by doing the following:

Incorporate white bandanas in your fashion shows and wear a white bandana in your final bow, so that the movement spreads through fashion week coverage.

Take photos of people wearing white bandanas in your street style photographs, runway imagery and party shots and share them far and wide.

Spread the word about the campaign, share the imagery and the movement on your websites and social channels.

Tie a white bandana around your wrist, neck, head, handbag . . . take a photo, share it on social media and tag someone to show you are #tiedtogether.
