How The Council Of Textile And Fashion Are Helping You Build Brand Awareness
Emerging Australian fashion labels listen up! If you haven’t yet heard of the latest initiative from the clever folk over at the Council of Textile and Fashion, you are in for a treat. CTF Curated is the name of the initiative and the council is inviting emerging fashion brands to take part.
They've consulted with new labels, established textile businesses, council, business development bodies, fashion festivals and more to pull together an exciting program for labels. Designers taking part will not only be supported and mentored by some of our local industries best AND get the chance to attend informative business development workshops. You will also have the opportunity to build your brand awareness and drive sales by showcasing your ranges in front of 1,000’s of fashion shoppers and visitors from around the globe. How you ask? Well, CTF Curated is hosting a series of pop-up retails stores and the very first one will open between the 9th -12th March to coincide with the month-long Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival. If you are in Melbourne for the fashion festival CTF CURATED is a must attend event. I will be heading along to show my support (and of course pick up some new pieces to add to my wardrobe).
I am personally very excited about this initiative, the council is really getting behind emerging brands and it is about time we all stood up and supported our local talent. I look forward to the project popping up in Sydney in the not too distant future!
