A BRAND rooted in authenticity, sustainability, and connecting our global community under ethical fair trade practices and shared experiences.

Bringing leisure into your everyday life. SUKU presents bedding and loungewear designed in Melbourne, and ethically hand-made and dyed in Bali.

Having been immersed in a myriad of colour and pattern growing up in Indonesia, the designer, Christine Lafian, was inspired by a desire to bring the ethereal artwork of tribal cultures into the modern household. She believes the home to be an extension of the self. With this philosophy in mind, each piece has been selected and designed with love and integrity.

Real people with real stories have skill-fully handcrafted each product, weaving their lives into our own. These are more than just decorative pieces; they symbolise a place of tranquility where you can escape and dream.

Since it's launch SUKU has amassed a loyal following on social media and has been found amongst the pages of Oyster, Nylon and i-D magazines. Every month, SUKU publishes a carefully put together blog series, featuring inspirational and creative people connected to the brand.

In October 2016, SUKU is opened their first concept store in Melbourne, The Lounge Room.

HAND-CRAFTED SHOES that combine contemporary design with architecturally crafted comfort, busting down the demarcation line between work and play.

It’s that quest for perfect balance that defines Extraordinary Ordinary Day, which combines the best of Seoul’s hand-craftsmanship with Sydney’s contemporary design sensibility. Extraordinary Ordinary Day (EOD) believes women can have it all: stylish, memorable and elegant shoes that are so comfortable, they can effortlessly transition from the nine-to-five day to a high-octane evening.

Creative director Ash Lim has tapped into her love of structure and form as a professional architect to raise the stakes in style and comfort. Additionally, she incorporates her passion for surrealism and a less-is-more approach to create timeless classics adorned with unexpected twists.

“If ‘luxury’ is defined as a state of superior comfort and elegance – a pleasure rarely obtained – then it is our commitment to bring luxury to everyday necessity and make every ordinary day extraordinary.” – Ash Lim
